I love this template and I have two dumb questions. I would like to change the background texture, is it possible? If yes, can you give me a source from where I could download some textures?

@John,

You will first need to edit the index.php, header.php similar file of the template, and see where the bagkground is used. The background could also be located in the CSS file – actually now that I think about it it should be in the CSS file. The image itself is not hard to find, should probably be something like bg.jpg or bg.png and the CSS uses repeat-y value to repeat the image vertically, to make it as long as the site.

Now, this should answer question 1. For question 2, you can either search for stuff online, like premade background images, but this is usually tricky; let me explain: most free background images are not 1920px wide, so the site won’t look OK in full HD.

You will need to create your own background, using a texture file. The best aproach would be to use GIMP, GNU open-source picture editor (the free “version” of Photoshop) and some free for commercial use textures. You can find interesting textures here, and since the site is not that popular, you are probably not going to see people using the same background as yours. http://www.creattor.com/graphics#!display=grid&limit=64&page=1&category=textures-patterns.
I hope this helps and maybe you can share your work when you have finished.

Hello,
I have tried to upload for couple of times a template for my blog, but I get every time this message :”We were unable to save your template.
Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message:
Content is not allowed in prolog.”
Please can anyone to tell me what exactly I have to do. I have no idea what means the message. I really like the templates here.
Thank you very much!!!
