Dear Cyangant Template Users: You might also experience a little problem editing widgets in your sidebar. You might observe that the Edit link of widgets/gadgets might become un-clickable (in Google chrome). So remove this:

1. Goto EDIT HTML page
2. Using CTRL+F, find “a:active {”
3. The browser will take you to the following code:

a:active {
position: relative;
top: 1px;
}

4. Just remove the above code. Save your template and hopefully the widgets/gadgets will become editable.

Hi!
I finally found the perfect template! Thank you so much! It is great!!

I have some question though.. Is it possible to edit this ‘upper bar’ with the ‘last written posts’? And the piece in the sidebar where you see the logos, and these kind of tweets, can they be edited/deleted too?

Sorry for all the questions! I absolutely love your template, but it would be nice if I could edit that bit. Ofcourse I will absolutely credit you!

Thank you! And keep up the good work!

Natalina Laner.

Hi!

Sorry I left like a million messages! :/ I thought I could delete them, but I couldn’t.

Well I am not really an expert with html, so I didn’t dear to go and edit stuff, but I have already found out how to change the ‘links’ (logos)from rss, facebook, twitter and email, to my own custom settings! :) And also the header pictures and text.

I just wonder how I can edit that ‘twitter status?’ on the right (underneath the facebook and twitter ecc. logos)to my own… :)

Thank you! :) x

Hi there! I don’t have a great knowledge about HTML, as Natalina. How can I switch up the images from the featured things? I did try it, but the image was too big. Also, how do I edit the menu bar in the top? Thanks in advance

Is there any way to edit the time and speed of the transition of the image slider. I find that the slides travels too fast and there it is too distracting to the eye at that speed.

Also, blogger has introduced more options in “Blog Post” settings:
• Star Ratings
• Share Buttons
• Location

I’ve enabled them, but they don’t appear below my posts as they were supposed to. ;-(
Is there anything to add/edit so that they can appear?

@Kaushal Dalmond: 1. The features star ratings, share buttons, location are not available in this template. I’m sorry. Hopefully infuture, I’ll be able to add them up :)

2. To slow down the slider, here’s what you need to do:

1. Goto EDIT HTML page
2. Using CTRL+F, find the following link:
“http://demo.simplywp.net/wp-content/themes/cyangant/js/script.js”

3. Replace the above link with the one below:
“http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4288269/script.js”

4. Click PREVIEW and SAVE when done.

That’s it! :)

@Volverene Evo:
That’s cool! I can see that you changed the duration value. Thanks. :-)

My question is: Am I allowed to edit the javascript file and upload it myself to any host? Or am I required to use the one hosted?

Volverene Evo 21 July 2010 at 10:24

@Kaushal Dalmond: You’re welcome :). Yes you can edit the Js according to your requirements.

Hi there. I’ve found a way to add the “Official Sharing Buttons” to Cyangant manually.

Here’s the link to the guide: https://blogandweb.com/botones-compartir-blogger/
