Oulipo Blogger Template

This is simple design and I love it.

Love the fixed/static sidebar – which I could filter the search so that it displays all templates with this feature.

I’ve been working on getting this template ready for use on my blog, but need some advice on a few points:

I’d like to add a banner at the top of the page, using an image file that’s as wide as the entire layout (about 940 px or so). Any suggestions on how to insert an image that’s wider than the columns below? To accommodate this image, I’d essentially like to just push the center column and right sidebar down a bit to align with the top of the left sidebar.

I’d also like to take the blog title off the fixed tabs in the left sidebar, as it will be a bit redundant once I’ve got the header working the way I’d like. Where can I find this in the code to remove it?

The Pages function isn’t working properly. When I add Pages to the Layout and click on the new page it won’t come up. Is there a way to activate the Pages widget for Oulipo?
