Hello-

I love the design of your template, however, I’m having a really difficult time getting it to display properly. I’ve gone ahead and uploaded the template, but when I view my blog…the Blog Posts do not appear as a tile of pictures as seen in your screenshot. I’m ONLY able to view the actual post…not the tile of images on the main page. I also looked into the “Auto Pagination” but that shouldn’t really apply since my blog operates completely as normal when using the old classic templates or any other ones I’ve used before applying yours.

Please help because I really do love the simplistic layout of this one. Thank you!

@Spencer: Did your pictures upload on Blogger or another external hosting? The thumb only appear if you have at least one image each posts that hosted on Blogger

That explains why it didn’t work. I have my images hosted on Flickr =( That’s a bummer because I really loved the design of the template. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly PIXOP.

hi, spencer, would like to know if your problem has ceased? thanks!

Hi Randomgirl-

The problem has not been resolved since I host my images on Flickr instead of through Blogger images. I’m going to have to stick with my original template until the creator of this new template can make it compatible with external hosting.

Same problem as above – thumbnails on home page appear as a gray box. Any ideas on what I have not done yet? do the graphics need to be equally sized or perhaps I haven’t labled, captioned, alt texted them yet? or too many pics to thumbnail? etc.
Am browsing in firefox.

ken 7 March 2012 at 2:52

Ahh, I get it now – each tile is a thumbnail of the first picture of each post. So I needed two posts to see the tiles appear. There is still a problem or a difference from the sample: A javascript action occurs when hovering over the thumbnail tile – the thumbnail slides down to reveal a gray background. It would be great if the hovering action revealed a text of the post title.

I’m having the same problem- black image thumbnails even though I am hosting my images with Blogger. Did you guys solve this problem? And if so, how? I am linking my blogspot URL to my own registered .com domain- could that be the problem? Thanks!

Hi! Once uploaded template I can not show more than 2 preview, if I select “show 3 [or more] posts” in the homepage of the blog there are two regular thumbnail in the style of this template and other posts are giant and showed over thumbnails, why does this happens? help me please ^^

Hi I have the same problem. When I upload more than one picture I get the black box for the thumbnail. I’m guessing that we are only able to upload one image per thumbnail in order for this to work. I am able to see the thumbnail when I only upload one at a time. I would like to upload more than one per thumbnail is this possible? thanks!

Has anyone figured out the issue? I am having the same problem where thumbnails on the main page are showing up as black. It does not appear to be an issue of where the image is hosted, as mine are hosted via Blogger. I have tried 1 vs. 2 pictures inside a post, and the image on the main page still does not work. If someone knows exactly how to fix the issue please advise!

I have included my link if needed.

Hi,

After I install this template, that Blogger Dashboard Settings – Formatting – “Show at most” value has problem.

For example, if I set this value to 20, my home page only can display 13 posts, 14~20 of my post can not show on same page.

Does any one know how to fix this problem? thank you.

Hi

I love your template but I think I have the same problem as Tango. Somehow I can’t make the image in the main page to fix the size of the box. No matter how I try to resize the image, the box still makes it look bigger. I only have problems with the main page, others are fine. Please can anyone help? Thanks alot!

Hi,

The template is great, but I’m noticing the images in the thumbnails aren’t centered. Is there a way to adjust how the thumnails are generated? I’ve changed the thumbs to be squares and the original images are squares. Since they are the same proportions, I thought there might not be any cropping.

Also, I’ve been hunting for a way to remove the gray background color and haven’t found it yet. Any ideas?

thanks!

Hi. I like this template a lot. To make my blog as great as yours, I need help to solve gray picture in home page. I successfully uploaded 2 pictures for each post. When I moved cursor to the thumbnail, the picture wiped down and the gray picture appeared. How to change the gray picture into my second picture? Thx in advance.

Hi,

Just wondering how you manually select the image to display in the icon per post? I tried uploading a different one at the beginning of my post but it won’t change.

Trying to solve the same problem as Tango and Mira. I would like to display the thumbnails showing the posted image resized without any crop (considering that the posted images have to be with same proportions with the thumbnails). Thanks so much. Excelent template.

Hello,

When I open my About page, I don’t get the correct formatting. Instead of the title, “About” with my picture and description I get a thumbnail of it like on the main page. Any way to correct this?

Thanks,

Hi there!

Its a great template…

However, I face the same issue as Larry whereby when I change the number of post at Setting-Post-Show at most to 20, it does not recognize and only displays a max of 14 posts. I can’t locate post 15-20 and even when clicking on the bottom left arrow to go to older post, nothing shows.

Anyway to fix this?

Thank you!

Rgds,
Lynn

looks like I’m having the same problem everyone else is…

everything works as it’s supposed to -however,

when I create a post…no images] tiles appear. only a grey tile…

this defeats the purpose of the layout all together.

it would be really nice if there was a solution. if I find one….
I will let everyone know.

I dig this template, and really want to use it! It’s working well for me, except that, like everyone else, I cannot make it display more than a certain number of posts in the grid before it splits them off into the second page. In my case it will only display 10 post thumbnails on the first page, when I have many more posts than that.

Can the developer post and explanation here of how to fix this problem since so many people seem to be having the same one? Surely there is a way to edit the HTML or add a bit of CSS to make it work?

Thanks

I love this layout and am using it right now! However I am having issues getting 8 posts to display in the front page instead of 7. It was working for a while and then today it just revereted back to 7.

In blogger I can also no longer change how many posts are displayed. When I select “8”, only 7 show up. Even when I select 12, 16 or 20 only 7 show up still … I wonder if it’s a coding issue?

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

Last week more than 5 posts were on the first page.

Is there anything I can change in the code?

Any help would be wonderfull

Hi! I really like your template and use it for my first e-shop. I am new in website and I don;t have any background on it. So it is kind of “my website class”. I have a question on enlarge the thumb’s size. All my pics in thumbs are not displayed full. Sorry if my question too easy.
