How do you change twitter to remove the bloglink in front of it?

Hey, guys!
There are two links highlighted in yellow that you need two read. They’re under the Download and Live Demo buttons. Please, click on them and read the guidelines ;)

This is a lovely template but terribly executed. Nothing works.

The Comments and Posts headers do not show up in either head or footer

You cannot edit the Comments and Posts widgets under Layout

The labels tab is missing

“Category” is missing from the footer

I’ve fiddled with a lot of templates but I’ve had no luck with this one. Your suggested links are useless, Claudia.

Claudia 30 November 2009 at 23:33

Hranfnkell:
Only go to Page elements and add new gadgets… or aks for specific support to its author ;) I did not have the same problems that you mention when I created the demo.

↩ Reply
Hrafnkell 1 December 2009 at 5:10

The Comments and Posts sections top and bottom are both empty. you can’t access them from Page Elements. They could be changed from the HTML but I checked the Demo’s source code against the results I got and they’re not even close to the same. I fiddled with it for hours without getting it to work. I’ve written a comment to the designer and as often happens, gotten no response.

As it stands, the template is completely useless and his instructions do not begin to cover the many problems it has. If you somehow made it work, I wish you would tell us here what you did, and how.

Hrafnkell 1 December 2009 at 7:08

Jurgen, how did you get anything to show up? I loaded this template and it was empty boxes everywhere without text and without any way to even access to widgets on Page Elements.

to Hrafnkell, this template works just fine. use firefox, ie8 or google chrome. use the latest version of it.

↩ Reply

Strange. I tried all three – firefox, ie8 and chrome – as well as Safari.

Well I have tried this blogger template and it works great Hrafnkell but ya I agree the HTML is quite hectic I myself am having problems. I just want to change the backgroung colour from white to a little dark grey but can’t find the code anywhere. Changing the body tag doesn’y work neither does changing the outer wrapper code.
Plz if some one can let me know the code where I need to change the bg color it will be f great help. Plz claudia if possible have a look at this problem.

There is a field for you to add your blog link. If you add it in the comment field, it might be considered as spam ;)
In any case, I don’t see you’re using this template on your blog.

Do you perhaps know the proper code to insert to show the current date on every post? I know that by default blogger blogs only show the date on the first post but in this template when a date is not shown, it appears as something is missing. Thanks! (I have also contacted the author.)

aLp 27 January 2010 at 14:53

Thanks for the template, but there are a few problems I had. So I’ll have some questions;

-When I edit the Date of any submitted entry, the Date part becomes empty in the blog. I couldn’t find any solutions. I tried to copy the whole text and make a new entry. I thought maybe it would work if I arrange the date in the beginning, but nothing changed.

-The Content Feed cannot be recognized. Maybe this is not the right expression for what I meant, so let me explain. When somebody adds your blog to his/her blog’s ‘Favorite Blogs’ gadget, and sets it to show the beginning part or sometimes only the title of the last entry, visitors of that blog sees your blog’s last entry’s title, or a few words from the beginning. By saying “Content Feed” I meant that. When somebody adds my blog to his favorite blogs, blogger prompts “Content feed is not recognized”. (This is displayed in my language so I do not know the exact message in English) What may be the reason?

Please check my blog and see the date parts of some entries. And please try to add my blog to your favorite blogs gadget to see the error message.

Thanx in advance!

I’ve tried it.
There’re my problems:
1. I could not quote the html code in my blog.
2. There’s not “Read more” in the posts ( I solved it )
3. I could not drag the widgets by my mouse in Layout
4. When I inserted a new widget, it was not fit to the slide bar.

Need some help!

I have noticed that the built-in ad on the right hand side has another adsense publisher ID. If you try to change the publisher ID and put your own, the video module above it goes haywire.

Does anyone know how to fix the tabs? Javascript is not working

↩ Reply
Jose Marcos Taveira 17 June 2010 at 12:00

Looks like something just happened to the hosted images for this template. The Blogger site that I am using it on has gone and blanked itself out and when I right-click and view background image in the various sections, I’m greeted with an error that the image does not exist on the server.

Suggestions?

↩ Reply
Bunkai 18 August 2010 at 17:05

It appears that bloggets.blogspot.com (host of this template) has been removed from Blogger.

Does anything that uses this template happen to have a backup copy of the images that were used so that I can upload them elsewhere?

↩ Reply
Claudia 21 August 2010 at 18:43

@Bunkai: It was disabled by Blogger. We had to verify the account… Please, try now ;)
