J, Vinod: All colors can be changed from your Blogger Dashboard. :) So it is fortunately up to the user to decide which colors to use.

Julian, I see what you mean. I didn’t notice I hid that part in the Elements page. Please download the template from my site. That bug is now corrected.

love the template… is it possible to put you tube clips on the main page?

also, is there a way to not cut off the end of words at the end of a paragraph?

The youtube clips can be added without any problems, even with a Blogger widget.

The Read More feature can be deactivated, check the release post for further information. There are plenty of other ‘Read More’ hacks available on the web. The one applied in this template is automatic, and you can only decide how many characters you want to display (not words or sentences). It’s definitely good for the lazy ones. :)

Same…My Post are not showing up, plus some of my past ones are also not showing up. Only about 10 are there. I see other people are having this problem. Like the template though, hope there is a solution.

The comment posting is not working on this template, it is cut off, and you can see it from the example above. There is no way for anyone to leave comments on the temp I downloaded.
Also there is a problem with the date stamps on all the entries, they do not show up on the template I have been working with.
Can you please take a look at the problems I am mentioning.

hola fernano, la pagina quiterandom no funciona.
Insatle ok el template en blogger pero despues de un par de dias las entradas dejaron de aparecer asi reducidad para mostrarse enteras no con el recuadro a la izquierda, sino la entrada entera. como puedo solucionar esto?
se puede cambiar la cabecera por una imagen? gracias

Grace: I uploaded a new version of this template. Please, upload the “summary-posts.js” (attached now to the zip file) archive to your own javascript hosting or install the template again.

Mechi: Subí una nueva versión de la plantilla. Por favor, sube el archivo “summary-posts.js” (que ahora añadí al archivo zip) a tu propio hosting de archivos, haciendo el reemplazo correspondiente del link en tu plantilla, o simplemente instala la plantilla de nuevo.
Con respecto a la cabecera, me temo que sólo es posible cambiarla con CSS, modificando el selector “header-wrapper”.

I’ve read through all the comments and am having the same issues with posts not showing. I am new to blogging (and basic html experience) and was wondering how I archive the summary-post.js. I have tried reinstalling the template. And also pasting in the Javascript code into the html code? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

summary_img = 250;
img_thumb_height = 120;
img_thumb_width = 120;

img_thumb_height y img_thumb_width son el alto y el ancho de las miniaturas de imágenes (en píxeles), respectivamente. Las otras dos variables corresponden al número de carácteres de los resúmenes que se muestran en la página principal.

I have a problem with my additional blog pages.
Every time I create a new page and publish it, the link under the header doesn’t show up…or if it shows up, there’s no text on the page if you click on it.

How can I solve that??

@BlackEyedDog: This template won’t show your pages automatically because it was created before Blogger launched the “pages” feature. So, all additional links must be added by yourself (please, read our FAQ).

Fernando, tengo dos blogs usando la plantilla Whiteness (más abajo te los enlazo)

El problema viene dado porque has cerrado la página a la que referencias los scripts del sumario de la página principal. Nuestras entradas suelen se extensas por lo que la posibilidad de publicar sólo un resumen en la principal es más que conveniente.

Podríamos cambiar de plantilla, pero ésta tuya es muy buena, la mejor para mí.

No sé nada de programación pero los cambios que he realizado en la plantilla, lo he realizado por “prueba y error”.

¿Podías hacerme llegar los scripts para pegarlos en mi plantilla de blogger?

@Juan Espino: El script está incorporado en la plantilla. Tendrías que descargarla de nuevo y hacer el o los reemplazos correspondientes.
