How do I change the font and title color. Also, when you click on the about link it doesnt do anything.

Go to Layout/Fonts and colors and try to change the font ant title color from there. Regarding to the about link, you must set up the menu bar by yourself; otherwise none of them will work. Maybe our FAQ can help you a little.
