cool design, but i think if adapted from WordPress, may be need more action.. like must adding footer or other features :)

i really liked this design and chose it for my new blog. But now there’s suddenly a change: I’m writting in german and before “ä”, “ü” and “ö” were displayed properly… but now it suddenly only shows “�” instead of those and also the entries are shown in full length instead of the small teaser-length…. any idea what could have triggered this change and how I can get this to work normal again?
Would be happy for any help!

I’m trying to change the photos in the gallery where it reads:
I cannot take a photo from my computer or flickr. What is the code to do this?
