Since this template is adapted from WordPress Can any help me in the slider case in wordpress you just stik it to a category but in Blogger i have to change the pictures and the text manualy

I need your help, when i upload the template to my blog, blogger reject the template and say this message:
“We were unable to save your template.
Your template could not be parsed because its format is incorrect. Make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message:
(SyntaxError): Unexpected token < "
What i do? I like this template, but i don´t get any way by upload it.
